THE ASSIGNMENT
SABMiller, one of the world's largest brewers, wanted 3-minute shorts of original content. They
were looking for clips that told a story - not a commercial.
THE RESPONSE
Filmaka asked our global community to submit scripts using SABMiller's theme "Because life is
what you pour into it." We received almost 150 submissions in one month. |

THE OUTCOME
Together, SABMiller and Filmaka selected 15 scripts and funded their production with $1500 each. The finished films were
turned in a few weeks later and 5 of them were chosen as winners to receive another $5000 cash.
