RECENT COMPETITIONS

Y&R Team Detroit asked our Filmakas to send in their pitches for a music video series featuring the 2009 Lincoln MKS set to one of eight songs from up & coming artists. After receiving 300 pitches from around the world, Y&R Team Detroit selected the clips below to greenlight.

Finalists were given $7,500 and two weeks to turn their ideas into completed videos. Five of those produced pitches were then selected as winners and aired as part of the CBS broadcast of the Grammy© Awards on February 8, 2009. That same day, the five winning musical videos and six other premiered on CBS.com and Filmaka.com

MUSIC

GARY CALAMAR, Music Director

Calamar is a two-time Grammy nominee for his work as music supervisor and soundtrack producer of HBO's Six Feet Under. He is currently working on some of the most acclaimed shows

on television: True Blood, Dexter, and House. Gary is also a DJ and music programmer at KCRW in Los Angeles where he has interviewed guests ranging from Elmer Bernstein and Thomas Newman to Wayne Coyne and Lucinda Williams.
