DEAD WAIT SERIES

Dead Wait by Jack Kison

While working at the Silent Grove funeral home- a place that has a bad habit of housing the newly woken dead- Max finds a new challenge every day as the cadavers pester him until he helps them settle their unfinished business in life. With each new day bringing another level of chaos, mild-mannered Max finds himself trying to keep his head above water, and even manages to learn some lessons about the nature of grief and love along the way. Sometimes Max can drag his feet, but that's okay- the Dead Wait.
