`You`... And The Rest Of Us Too...

Contest Name :The Voyeur, Submission Date :08-31-2007, Uploaded By : Kavita

Shot On: Sony PDX-10, Edited On: Final Cut pro,  Crew Members: 2  Duration:

Inspiration: A baby, a house-bound mother, a curious neighbor; Voyeurs all. Born out of the modern mindset to watch, but not participate.
Other Info: The barrage of image and information from the media turns the audience into mere puppets. We were experimenting with sound, to convey the idea.

nice film! you really succeeded in portraying what you wanted through the sound design. i think i needed a little more understanding of or connection to the neighbor, but i definately felt that the mother and daughter were watching rather than acting in life. check out "plastic dream" (sonia)
Honorato Magaloni Gonzalez
Good concept, nice shots, but I don't know if it all comes together at the end. Maybe seeing other characters or stories would have helped. If you have a chance watch my short SEE and tell me what you think.
Daanish Wain
interesting idea to show the topic through multiple characters. I agree with Honorato though, i think a bit more of a story line would help pull it together. good job! - Daanish (Publice Service Annoucement)
Prasanna Lal Das
Interesting, intersecting ideas though I wonder if the neighbor character/subplot was superfluous and the concept more literal than it needed to be. Will be 'watching' your progress through the series!!

well done Khan and Kavita,a different point of view i like it good luck ..."Voyeur, by Divakar Ghodake"
Suja
Excellent use of sound here, the overbearing media intrusion well brought out. I wish images of 'advertising' too had been brought into the fold, to show how brands and products become intimate with our daily lives. Good luck.
