Good one .I liked the way mixed the music with actions. Can you check my other videos "sleeping beauty" and "noboss..no loss".Nobossnoloss video is similar to your guitarheroes.thanks
Watch your audio. There seem to be some out of sync bits (could be the compression). Great idea. I love how it looks like they're holding a conversation through the air guitar.
Yep, the conversion completely threw the first bit out of sync.
That is hilarious! Simple yet intriguing.
Hey Vangelis Neat work..i thought the two guys had a good chemistry going. Nice idea and very funny...
Very good! I love the bit when the girl joins in. I'm just wondering how will you clear the rights for the music? Nice one Vangelis.Good luck!Greg Karpinski - director of "Regulation 214b"
Thanks Greg. I used that part of copyright law that allows parody of copyright material. I'm parodying the most popular air guitar song here, so it worked out with filmaka.
Thanks Mark! I've known Casper (blond guy) for some time and he is a pleasure working with. He is very talented and funny and everyone's game is raised thanks to him.
Hahah watched it again.. definitely one for the rockers out there! Hope to see more of the like. good luck n rock on!
You are now in my shortlist. One of the best in the lot. Please check my videos "noboss..noloss","sleepingbeauty" and "chat@office"
Creative idea! Loved when the woman came in! Very funny to watch, and nicely done with the improve... I do most of my shorts this way also. Congrats on your short... it worked out nicely! Daniel Barosa "4413".
Hey Vangelis, cool film. Great that it only takes two shots to tell the story. Good tunes also. If you get a chance, can you take a look at mine, its all the way down the back on the last page. Murraybell. Thanks
Glad you liked it Joseph. I was getting urged to do something simpler for a change, so I'm glad you think it worked out.
Rock on buddy! \m/ >< \m/
Thanks Sirinivasa. I'm glad you liked it.
Thanks a lot Daniel. I really like how natural your actors are when they improvise and I've found out too that it works better that way.
Cheers Murray. I was actually aiming at a single shot, but one of my actors dropped out literally 20min before we were supposed to start filming. So, I pulled my camerawoman in front of the camera for the second shot and had to adapt it for her needs (we had an older person playing the boss). Glad you enjoyed it, I really liked yours too, as always.
Very good and simple idea and kind of surreal because of the way you handle the sound like is comming from their connected minds. But one question: do you have permission for the popular song you're using?.
Thanks Sergio. Concerning the permission, look a few comments down.
Yes Vangelis, sometimes less is more...
That was super - unique use of deep purple 'smoke. . .'! Good luck!!
Nice acting with superb music.Good twist at the end.Congrats.Paras R.Gandhi-director of "Pants Down"
Thanks Manjiri. I love parodying that song, because it's the first song every guitarist learns and the one song everyone air guitars too.
Cheers Paras. I was lucky to have great actors that are also musicians and into rock music. It really made my job easy.
clever! the simple cinematography sold it to me. see "AT THE OFFICE" pg 3
Thanks Kane. I tried to keep it as simple as possible and concentrate on the performances. I'm confused, I can't see any movie called "At The Office" on p3, except for the one by Murray Bell.
