Nice to see a story from a child's point of view. Pulling out the knife at the phone booth somewhat dramatic, but cute and innocent to think what was portrayed as a life criminal would drop everything from his past life from the simple act of seeing a drawing by his granddaughter? Nice ending nonetheless.
I agree with Michel.... the knife was a little dramatic.... but the rest was nice.... I liked the editing....especially the first half.... A difficult story to pack into 3 minutes....Done well....
I liked it because it was using art, me being an artist as well as a children's art teacher ;-)
Great film! Loved the bible quote and the knife... scary stuff
Many thanks for your comments. Lee, the child did the drawing herself. Michel, Pratyush and Ana, I’m glad you liked the story. As for the knife, the over-dramatic effect was intended (Tarantino style, you might say). I mean, how many people go about quoting the bible on phone booths?
Pedro, I really liked the story line. I like what you said about being intentionally over-dramatic - that reads. A couple of times it's melodramatic - parts just seemed a little stiff. It's good.
