me too... i was in nova scotia shooting my By Her Roots documentary the whole month he had his jaw wired shut..it happened the night i left town. he lied to me telling me it was only a fracture and that the wires would be out in two weeks. it was only after all the video I shot for Grandmother at the United Nations that she told me what had happened to him..then i rushed back to toronto to tell him what she said and he went "is that what happened" she told me he knew he passed over but that he didn't understand how why or what happened to him. she just knows ...she hadn't talked to him. he didn't want me to worry or stop my shoot and come home. thanks 

This would make a very good documentary. I would have liked to have seen even suggested images of 'the other side' of life, apparently his death experience. Also, the music score was good, but a bit too loud for the narrative. 

I appreciate your feedback Lee thank you for commenting . My editing sucked I really can't wait until I can hire editors. I shot it in ohio the 28th and only had about 1/2 hour to grab it so I only got three takes and each time they said something important that was not in the last one. I wish I could have had even one more take. I drove back 10 hours to toronto on 29th moved my son on 30th, went back up north to pack up my stuff to move on 1st which is when i had about 3 hours to edit, export and upload. I also wish i had of left the music off longer on the closeup..brought it back in too fast. I really didn't get to convey more info she said about what was happening on the other side while he was making his decision. The only thing I can comfort myself with is that I got the content I wanted for the theme and that I made the deadline. Thanks again for commenting I really appreciate it.
