Well shot, edited, directed, acted, music etcetera, but I didn't really understand why he'd been kidnapped in the first place, and why he got killed in the end? I watched it twice in case I missed something, but???? Please watch my entry, 'Deadline'.

As to the reasoning: think about the opening shot. Also, consider the what the title could mean in context of that opening shot.

Blood from his hands just vanished. And after he released himself from certain death and put into unconscious condition a lady with a just one kick in a head he stopped to chat with a granny stranger! Unacceptable for me.
Nice little twist at the end and an entertaining short. The sound editing is a little jarring at parts though (maybe more fades could fix that?) But I liked the entire sequence of the puzzle and her dialogue with the stuffed animal. Enjoyed watching.
That stuffed animal is a scene stealer! (The actress is cute and funny too.) The maker of "The Course."
