I think the transition in the beginning is not needed. Considering the vast wealth of knowledge the main character had about the coming eclipse, he seems taken off guard and completely unprepared when it arrives.
I agree with all of the positives that had been mentioned. The criticism is that 3 minutes is too short of a time to develop this idea and the expositional unfolding of it all seemed contrived. Plus where did the baby come from all of the sudden? Seemed forced. -------Director of 'The Time Is Now'--------

But you are right and next time I miss to explain those points in the short.
Pretty cool stuff! I LOVE the look of it, and I agree that the monster is very well done indeed. If I had a critique readily come to me, I would share it with you, but all that comes to mind is what Chris already said -- it is not a subject that is developed in the 3 minute film, but a great teaser just the same. My film is called "The Course."
Some incredible visual effects and the look of the creatures were masterfully done. You pounded a lot of ideas into a short amount of time and the film was always interesting as a result. One of my favorites.

man, you packed so much into that. really held me till the end. great effects. and the creatures freaked me out! a really good film!!!
