Way cool movie. Loved how we see the mundane minutes before the actual action happens - the moments most movies gloss over or omit entirely. Definitely see the New Wave influence.
I sure wasn't expecting that ending! I have to admit I was getting a bit bored with the beginning to middle, etcetera, but the payoff at the end was worth the wait! Please watch my 'Surprise!'

Really reminds me of the opening scene from Pulp Fiction, which is definitely intended as a compliment. A couple on the verge of committing a crime, yet there's a comical banter beforehand that makes them likable. Enjoyed it.
