Inspiration: Based on a poem by actress Peggy Pope, TOYS is a hand-made stop-motion collage animation that tells the story of a fraught father-daughter relationship. Filmmaker Amanda Quaid taught herself stop-motion from YouTube in order to make the film on her kitchen table using paper dolls, cutout photographs, and vintage paper.
