i cannot understand why they would allow this film to be in the competition, can someone tell me why?

it's a good msg, but i'm not really sure what it has to do with 'mistaken identity'..
it is no accident that many films in this competition have an environmental message...how you choose to get it across is up to you ...good work and i look forward to your next film..!
I guess because an animal cannot live its original identity when it is captured. (?)
