Very good story line. Congrats.
Gostei muito da sua historia. Tem bons personagens e atuações. Gostei do final também! Depois vê o meu curta e me fala o que você acha, "muiraquitã".
Very powerful way to comment on the complicity involved in not doing anything. I really liked it. If you have a chance watch my short SEE and tell me what you think.
You've made a really good film with a powerful message! Well done!
I like how the multitude of onlookers justifies all the interesting cuts to cool angles, and work into the complicity theme. Powerful stuff, nice work.
You have a so good shoots,. I did not understand why this violence....but filmm is well done. Fée
very cool shots. ouch for the old guy. good job! - Daanish (Public Service Announcement)
Good film. The end of the violence I could have done without, but the end of the film really wrapped it up nicely. (Nate Bower - "Safe" - pg. 4)
Well done Ricardo, I everything good job good luck, "Voyeur by Divakar Ghodake"
Ricardo
Hi Joseph Thanks for the support, I wasn't expecting so many good feedback cause I was a little disappointed with my work, specially the sound that was useless. but the experience is always the most important...got to see your film, very original! I always felt that animation was more difficult than traditional film and that someone had to have a very singular and criative mind. Good luck!
Hi Konrad Thanks for the feedback. We were supposte to have more passive people watching but we had too many shots for one day. Saw your film and thought the transition interesting, but you should have tried to have the girl in the same position and atitude in real life as she has when in his mind. You could have made a nice transition then. Still cool. good luck!
Hi Fée Thanks for the feedback...the violence was actually to be counterbalanced by the violence of passive people, the more violent the beating, the more violent the way people looked and stayed quiet...but I ended up doing too many things and not concentrating on the essence of the film...still, was a good experience to do better next month...say your film, did the kids knew you were there or was it real voyeurisme? still, it was a bit of fresh air in all those filmaka movies...good luck! Ricardo
Olá Sergio Thanks for the feedback. The storyline was interesting but I was a little disapointed with the directing, but still, expirience was good. Saw you film, interesting. Where did you shoot? Are those streets in Edinburgh? Good luck! Ricardo
Hello Nate Thanks for your feedback. The violence was actually the main subject, the idea was to show strong physical violence counterbalanced by passive violence. I saw your film and I can understand why you could have done without it, your message is more poetic than mine...I though some shots were excellent, even the colour quality. the text was interesting but I think it should had been smaller, to give more room to the kids playing..still, nice film and good luck! Ricardo
Hi Daanish Thanks for your feedback. I saw your film and I like the idea of mixing real live action with animation. Mybe you should have explored a little more the idea and give it a little more mileage and expectation, what do you think? Bye and Good luck! Ricardo
Hi Honorato Thanks for your support. I am happy you got my message in the film, still it was difficult to produce, shoot and direct in such short time and of course, some shots were not as good as I wanted and some got deleted cause we couldn't make all in one day..still, the idea was to counterbalance physical violence with passive violence in the eyes of the people...the end tried to work as a "coup de theatre"..got to see yours before reading your message and it was already in my shortlist. I though you did great with space and the actors. Some of the shots tell the story in amazing originality, and the end is twisted...I guess it all comes to not knowing what one has in life until one looses it and also what we can do for love...very nice film, good luck! what do you teach in Mexico? Ricardo
hi Divakar thanks for the support. There is one thing we have in comun...we had not very good sound in our films and as Spielberg says, sound is 50 percent of the movies, and it's frustrating when the sound is too present and ruins our effort in making a nice film...the experience was enough for me and I got an external microphone for my camera and next time, I will have a sound guy...good luck Ricardo
