that's actually really impressive rain! great dialogue that seems so real. Very well shot! -Daanish and David ("Home for the Holidays" pg. 3)
That is some really good rain! the acting and editing was also spot on. good job 'Home for Xmas' Daniel Stephenson
Nice short. Really liked the naturalistic acting and beautiful clean shots.
Nice shot, and natural actors. Good luck ! Maxime (Christine's Christmas Big Adventure)
I loved the simplicity of this short. Terrific acting, natural dialogue. And it's very relatable. We've all been there on Thanksgiving day, not wanting to see certain people. Excellent work. It's on my SHORT LIST! -Brian ("Christmas in Reno")
seems like a great, introspective tale of never measuring up to one's parents and the angst one feels at this time of years at family gatherings that some of us would like to avoid. Who hasn't wanted to just go outside in the car and hang. I really like the color palette of your short and I wouldn't have known that wasn't real rain if you hadn't told us!
This shows, yet again, the power of simplicity. It's very hard to get keep the audience interested in a character in 3 minutes and this short does it very well. Very well written, very well acted. Shortlisted.
Been there... Good actors, good dialogue. Good luck with it. Anastasia (at home on others holidays)
Very good film and loved the actors.
I agree, simple is better... I only wish I could do stuff like this... it's much harder than it seems. Congrats to you and your actors! Daniel Barosa (The bedtime story of the girl...)
The films both thanksgiving and yam yam; are very nice. Thanksgiving is very funny and I feel you escape the cliche very well. I d like to see more of your film, have you got some more ?
bon travail !
