Wow, this is beautiful! Great technically, with two really good performances. The twist at the end is really sweet. One question though: This short is almost 3 1/2 minutes. Doesn't it have to be 3 mins or less? Great job, I look forward to seeing more from you. -Brian (Christmas in Reno)
Great acting, unusual twist. Liked it! Good luck!
Wow I didn't see that one coming! Great shots and wonderful acting. Good luck!Daanish and Dave ("Home for the Holidays, pg. 3)
Great script with an unexpected ending... Maxime (Christine's Christmas Big Adventure)
Good script. Exceptional lighting throughout the whole film really makes this film stand out. Robert Athey (The Christmas Tree)
great quality night atmosphere shots!! gorgeous!!and a amazing climax!!!!!! loved it !! (Home For Xmas)
Liked it alot, just a question as to why it was a completely different actress- why did she change her face too?
It's exactly the same actress, her face wasn't changed at all. All she did was let her hair loose....maybe it's because by the time we got the river at 7 in the morning she was really tired !
Cool film. I like the idea of playing off the "Foreigner" and making her even more foreign than ANYONE could have expected. Plus good acting...Like Brian mentioned though, check your length because you don't want to get disqualified over something silly like that!!Check out "A Tail of Two Holidays" page 3- James
thank you James, I'm really glad that you liked the film. As for disqualificaiton, it was my understanding that as long as the film is approved and posted then it's fine. I did send it to Filmaka a few days ahead of the deadline, and the reply came that it was fine, if the duration was an issue I guess they wouldn't have posted it.But I do accept that I/we need to stick to the duration as much as possible...
Oh and by the way, I'm really glad you picked up on the Foreigner sub-plot, i was hoping someone would notice it. That's what the film is all about...
Like the poetry of your film! Unexpected ending. Great actors. Good luck, Dima. Anastasia )
Great film. Loved the ending.
Great acting, really made me feel it. Really didn't expect that ending. It's a beautiful story...If you have time, take a look at my short and tell me what you think... Daniel Barosa (The bedtime story of the girl...)
