I totally agree with everything you say! Please check out my "Backwards In Time"?
How many takes did until you got what you wanted?
About 6 takes that were over three minutes. I had eventually cut the beginning. After that, I got it on the 3rd take. But the looming deadline, prevented me from going any further. This was my way of putting something together on short notice and getting to give voice to things that I feel need to be said.
Interesting Chirs. I agree with everything you say. It's a strong theme to share. Good luck!
... your message, not your film, I believe deserves thought... Chris, I believe every "they" could, rather should, be replaced by a "we"... you have, at least, a video-camera... probably also a car, running water... "we" are all culprits.
"We" most certainly are. I wholeheardetly agree with that. Though, I think I chose 'they' because I want to create a distinction between the two. Even though we are all guilty partcipants (in some capacity), there are those who are more to blame than others. If the hierarchy is controlled from the top, and the top are the ones who are maintaining the status quo, then I must point my finger at them. And I feel that 'we' need to do something about it or we're all doomed. And perhaps during the process we can all reflect on the role that we as individuals played in the destructive game.
Powerful theme. I absolutely agree with your opinions. Good performance from the actor. Please check out my film "together again" and let me know what you think.
Good way to put a message thru. The actor really had me listening carefully. I imagine it must've been hard to do it in one take and still mantain the 3 min. limit.
Hi Chris! Powerful acting and a message that definetely goes through. Intense. Please check out my film: "The Visit" See you around!
Very cool monologue and impressive acting. Great job on putting this one together, I'm sure it took a lot of work.
great acting!!!!!!hats off to the actor for doing the complete thing in just one shot......the lighting was good with some very strong dialogues!!!!!
Chris, It's really cool to see someone use a short film this way. My goal with the piece I did was to make something that was not 'cute.' This piece does just that wonderfully. The effect of the subtitles and the opening apology really add depth to the piece. Also, good lighting, sound and overall production quality adds credibility. Nice work on a non-traditional piece.
Very realistic. You come across super believable. Almost creepy how good you present your idea.
