Good sad, or why try sad? 

Sad, for sure. Well acted. The mother had to have a lot of strength to be able to talk to her son so rationally as he died. I know that I couldn't... Please watch my entry, 'Deadline'.  

Powerful concept and very sad... One thing I would point out is that the viewer never has the chance to see anyone's eyes. The mom always has her bangs covering them, and it can take away from the audience... but still, the film is very moving, especially when we find out who she is talking to 

I agree with Robins comment that you had to go deeper. If mother can not do anything, you can. Death is definite, but those who stay alive are more important. I think that monologue is a problem and if she spent more time in a room saying something personal but You brought so much light, etc. We need details in your concept, specially because this tends to be a minimalism. Detail is a crucial. Good luck! 

This struck an cord with me. Because now that I am a father, I can identify with the pain of losing a child. Not something that I would ever want to go through.
