Inspiration: The screenplay was based on a short story by Bernard Peasley titled "Pins in the Mannequin". The short story was pitched to the participants of the spontaneous and collaborative Filmonik Melbourne Kino Kabaret, on the night of Friday 21 September, 2018. The screenplay was improvised on Saturday 22 September and all filming was completed on the same Saturday afternoon. Video editing and partial music scoring was completed on Sunday 23 September and the first screening took place on the same night at Lido Cinema, Melbourne. Since the initial screening on 23 September 2018, additional editing has taken place and original music added. This version is the film's final cut.
