Great expression of your mind through body language, telling a story of your thoughts
The many quick cuts worked well to set up the story. Unusual and
effective filmaking technique. The film flows at a leisurely pace
which is relaxing, while drawing one in to the finale,
which had a refreshing and uplifting twist.
Good work!
Thank you so much for the comments and encouragement! Appreciated so much
I have watched this film 3 times and I think what I like about it and what makes it endearing is the innocence it portrays in how a lot of women endure the internal struggle of wanting love and feeling that they have to sacrifice part or some of their dignity in order to find someone that loves them for who they are and not what they’re willing to do. One mistake I see and it is repeated in several of the films here, is shooting scenes against a solid white wall. I would caution new filmmakers to avoid this mistake as it flattens out the image. Other than that, keep making films, Angela, I see a lot of potential in your art. Many blessings.
Dean, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts here! What you said confirms that I was able to portray what my heart was speaking through this. Thank you. AND, thank you for sharing your advice and suggestion on how to improve the art of filmmaking. I really appreciate your insight and will definitely change that in my next piece. I love learning about this art so thank you so much! It means a lot! I am really excited about this season if life, Dean and I appreciate your encouragement for me to continue. Blessings to you!
VERY meaningful subject matter. You captured a very common issue with our wandering minds and more importantly the insecurities that women struggle with. Great way to show rivalry within our mind! {Jury Member}
