I am a working film and VO Actor originally from Philadelphia, PA. I began my VO career in radio at the age of eighteen in my hometown while attending Temple University. After seven years, and earning three AIR Awards, as Creative Services Director and On-Air personality in cities like Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Memphis, Hartford, and Washington, DC…I discovered that I wanted to do something else. A local director was at one of my live broadcasts in a Philadelphia nightclub, and cast me in his film alongside Wood Harris, MC Lyte, and Esther Rolle. It was a life changing experience and I found myself slowly weaning away from my radio roots. I secured an internship with a prestigious Philadelphia casting office and learned the business from the inside out. After completing several more independent and short film projects, I landed my first feature film role in an M. Knight Shyamalan movie. My course of study eventually lead me to NY and back again to Los Angeles; where I continue to do VO here now, as well the occasional acting gig. My focus as of late has been writing, producing and shooting my own personal projects; including "Doing The Door" - my pilot submission for Filmaka's FX competition. As for the future, if 2008 has taught us anything it's that Movies and TV are rapidly changing. The business, at least as we know it, will slowly dry up and cease to exist. I see the amazing work of talented Filmaka members who are creating their own projects as the natural progression of entertainment. I hope to contribute and be a part of this evolution by continuing to produce original content with fresh, new ideas. I look forward to seeing more from all of you.
