Biography

Brett Gerry Films is dedicated to producing films that challenge our conceptions of cinema and the mass media. Alternative films produced in association with both members of the filmmaking community and the general public, working on low budgets and utilising the latest digital technologies in an attempt to move away from the linear-fixated, heriachial processes that preoccupy today's media professionals. An understanding and appreciation of culture, history, politics and art combined with an open-minded approach to filmmaking are the tools to reach this end.
