Biography

It's always the hardest for me to write "a little bit" about anything because I tend to go on and on when explaining things. So, I'm apologizing in advance if this is a bit over a little bit. Right now I edit commercials at Cortez Brothers. I'm cutting spots that air all over the world. I am also doing the post-production on a host of web content for Toyota and AARP. I'm a big advocate of this "digital revolution" or renaissance or whatever they're calling it. I've had some amazing opportunities to work on the bleeding edge of HD technology. While at Universal Studios I worked on the team that developed true 1080p60 so we could make holograms for theme park rides. At Sony, I worked on similar technology, only smaller, helping to pack a big HD picture into smaller, consumer priced cameras. Working for the Air Force and Navy, they taught me some pretty wild things, the technology they use and how to rig just about anything in the field. I've shot my own pieces and done complete post operations on a number of projects shot on the Red. Anything new and high def, I get my hands on it somehow. I love to figure out how to do things better, faster, cheaper. And that's how I got to Cortez. In the future, I would love to Direct full time. Recently I was able to make my first big steps towards that goal, being signed as a Director by a feature production company. And that's pretty much all that I've got, or that really should be typed in such a small space. Thank you for your irreplaceable time. Cheers,
