A Chicago native who grew up in Cleveland, Brian Caunter returned to the windy city to pursue a career in commercials and film. He studied directing, screenwriting, and editing at Columbia College, where he graduated with high honors in 2006. Caunter went on to direct the award winning indie gangster film Chicago Overcoat, starring Frank Vincent (“Goodfellas”) and Armand Assante (“American Gangster”). He most recently worked on the Illinois Department of Transportation's "Click It or Ticket" commercials, which won an Emmy Award in 2009.
