Wigz Woorld is a French Canadian Actor/Filmmaker born and raised in Sudbury, ON.
He is currently living in Toronto, ON. Canada.
He has enjoyed acting/filmmaking ever since he, his cousins & his uncle made a short horror film “The Lost Weekend” while on a camping trip. He was only 9. 3 years later, he made a short documentary with his other uncle “My Summer Vacation.” Wigz initially wanted to be a sports broadcaster. He attended the National Institute of Broadcasting in Toronto. It was short lived however. He was informed that film & television is where the big money is made. He decided to take the safe route & went to trade college ,got a certificate in stone & brick masonry. Upon completion he started a small business called "You Name It Anytime" Sometimes It's just easier to pay someone.
Shortly after The Melissa A. Smith Acting Studio opened in Sudbury. He would revisit the dream of becoming an actor. He took some weekly acting classes. August 2014 was his first time on a professional set “Hard Rock Medical” as a background talent. A few Hallmark channel movies, an S.O.C role in season 1 of LetterKenny and his last background Indian, Horse was enough to complete seal the deal. He would stop at nothing to become an actor. August 2016, Wigz booked his first principal role on a TV series “14 keys” which aired on Eastlink cable 10. He realized, in order opportunity to succeed in Acting/Filmmaking he would need more training. He made the choice to pursue it full time in Toronto, ON. attended the 18 month intensive Acting for Film, Television and the Theatre Diploma Program at Toronto Film School. He graduated with honours September, 2018. (3.8 G.P.A)
His Dedication , determination & hard work has proven worthy. Wigz already has an agent at BEAN & CO TALENT GROUP. He has been in documentaries, music videos, commercials, corporate videos, shorts and features films. He also wrote, directed, and starred in a short film. “Break City” is based on a true events. A story about being trapped but never losing hope and giving up on your dreams. “Break City” is in post production. Wigz is enjoying the behind the scenes work. So much so, he decided take another 18 month intensive Diploma Program at Toronto Film School. He is currently finishing up his 1st term of Film Production. He felt it would be beneficial for his acting career, networking but mainly to make “Break City” even better. His goals has always been to get the story out to every addiction clinic & rehab worldwide. Whether it’s a short, a feature or even better a web-series. He wants to help others break free of the demons that keep them trapped, stuck & settling for anything but their dreams. What better way then through film language.
