Riverstone Pictures is backed by UK media powerhouse Ingenious. The company was founded in 2014 by veteran Hollywood producer Deepak Nayar and former Ingenious media MD Nik Bower. Since hanging its shingle, Riverstone has financed and/or produced 10 major motion pictures. 5 of these are in post-production and include Keanu Reeves in Replicas,Show Dogs starring Natasha Lyonne, Stanley Tucci, Ludacris and Shaquille O'Neill, an Untitled Project, Guru Tegh Bahadur, and Tell it to the Bees starring Anna Paquin<, with several more pictures currently in pre-production and another 30 films in development. Based in London and Los Angeles, Riverstone is a film and television producer in its own right, with a growing development slate led by Jeremy Baxter, as well as a financier of high-quality third-party productions. The first film financed by Riverstone was Genius starring Colin Firth, Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, which premiered in competition at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year.
