Peter Marshall Smith is the co-founder of Lasrever, an independent production company based in Los Angeles that has produced two half hour variety shows for channel LA36: AfterThought TV and The Underground. His directorial credits include 20 episodes of television as well as multiple short films. Since 2003, Peter has shared a commitment to improvement with the dedicated filmmakers that he's collaborated with; a goal to make the next project better than the last. Recently Lasrever's "Year of the Rabbit" took third place in filmaka's DIRECTV Film Challenge. Past credits include some short films that are not featured on filmaka due to time restrictions: "Honor Among Thieves" (16 min) garnered multiple awards at NY Midnight Movie Madness in 2004. "Who You Know" (5 min) was a top 5 finalist in FX's 2006 comedy pilot competition for Always Sunny In Philadelphia. "In Memory of Rusty" (8 min) won awards for Best Acting ensemble and Best Cinematography in the 2006 48 Hour Film Project in Los Angeles. Peter is a theater graduate of UCLA.
