A really good film, subtle but powerful! All the best!
Nice job. Would love to see more of your work
the only problem is that its so real, touches your heart, well done man, c congratulations to you and your crew, it is a high standard movie,so sad, the kid was brilliant, touches the heart, check mine please, "My Goodbye Story"
I really liked the photography and the music in this one! well done i enjoyed it!
Great film! Touches the heart. (Check out mine-"20 weeks")
Scary subject. Good performance. Shots were well setup.Camera and focus work very good. Obviously you are all pro to some degree. really liked the way you just got the principle character isolated in every shot except when a child peeks in. Good mix of what was going on around her and what's going on in her mind too. Sensitive too. All rounder this one.
very well crafted and performed. nice job.
Hi...great job
Hi if possible check out my film The V.V.I.P
Great great great photography, excellent acting too. Thanks for sharing it with us. It must had been hell to get those crowd-less shots. Please check Homunculus by Vangelis Mylonas
Wow, this is shot so well! Awesome steadicam work. Great, great job! (Bryan - "Lucas and Mabel")
this is the most powerful film ive seen yet, beautiful work
It has a great feel to it, I like how you deal with the characters and how you present a difficult subject matter in a very clever way. Very good. If you have time check out my short "The Patient" and tell me what you think.
Appears each aspect of this film has been given thorough attention and it shows. Very well done!!! David A Elliott ("Rob Ridgeway Mobile Massage Therapy")
I liked the performances and thought it was well-shot, but I wished there was something to keep our attention more through the first half of the film. Sound off on mine. Mark Bowen (The Perfect Pair)
You've made a winner for sure. I can't wait to see your jury level submission.Alexander Jorgensen ("Outpatient")
Very good film. Really simple but strong. Nice music as well. Beautiful images as well. Good luck to you.
I'm not a fan of serious shorts in general (I find them preachy and "try hard"), and to be honest this looked to be the same as all of the others....but I saw it through and I'm glad I did - because it wasn't like the others.Like any short story, it had to be taken in its whole, and not "I liked that bit". I liked the fact it left the viewer hanging at the end and thinking what was going through her mind - with a lot of possibilities.I was very surprised that I really liked it. If I hadn't seen it I would have been poorer for missing the experience. There are some clever people out there.
Thank you for your opinion. To me this is the best comment anyone could make. We really appreciate your support!Greg
Thank you for your kind words. We are really glad our work is appreciated here on Filmaka.
Thank you for your comment. In fact we actually quite rushed making this film and didn't have that much time to prepare for it properly. Thanks to Lee it was saved in post.
Great comment! Thank you for support.
This is really a beautiful, sensitive and certainly unsettling film. I love what you achieved w/o dialogue and the child at the end. Thanks so much for your comments on 'Free to Good Home'. I almost missed yours and I appreciated the opportunity and will add it to my list. William Donaruma
Thank you William. I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you for your comment. We really appreciate your support!
Very moving movie with and excellent photography.
very good! really very nice film! amazing cinematography and acting! in short list for voting! Good luck!
very great cinematography ! i like the fact that ther is no dialog, only eyes.il liked the sound effects, and the final credits. i liked all the piece. you're a great filmmaker! Niko - "Extasy in the Hospital"
Thank you for opening my eyes. You achieved in just over 2 minutes what many Hollywood productions fail to achieve in 2 hours.
Hey Lucas,I really appreciate your comments as i'm fighting with lots of people here to get my stories told. It seems that everyone i know in England wants to make stupid "funny" stories but none want to touch the serious subjects. I think of films as a vehicle to tell stories that matter to me. I'd love to hear from you and watch your films if you have any. Maybe we can do something together in the future!
I don't make films...I have ideas, but they never even make it to paper. One day I might write a book! I did used to write short verse, but a long time ago!
Greg, I have a pro digital music studio in west London. I'd be happy to offer you music and soundtrack if you need some at any point. I've a couple of shorts with my music on the filmaka site but if you want to check out some more go to http:/www.embryomix.com . good luck in the future.
