Biography

I was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to California in 2000 to attend college. I graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in biology and currently conduct diabetes research at a San Francisco-based biotech company. I made my first short film, Coaster, three years ago and have been making short films in my spare time ever since. My favorite films are In the Mood for Love, Primer, Lost in Translation, Broken Flowers, Old Boy, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, Ran, and many more. My favorite directors are Wong Kar Wai, Woody Allen, David Lynch, and Quentin Tarantino.
