Biography

I started out in the British film industry in 1980 as a grip truck driver. In 85 I got my union card, went freelance, then worked my way through the grades to DoP. Over the years I have worked with many great cameramen and directors on productions such as the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars series at Elstree, and the Bond films at Pinewood. I believe that the skills learnt there can – and should – be applied to any production. Since those ones and zeros turned the film business upside down, I have specialised in digital production, I just love the freedom that a V1 and a Mac gives me to realise my – or your – ideas.
