When I was very young I was interested in illustrating and writing fiction, but it wasnít until I saw the movie Fargo that I realized I wanted to be a filmmaker, and bring all of my artistic passions into one medium. For a long time Iíve tried to get work made but itís been very difficult. Now that Iím going to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago I am studying many of the art forms that I want to channel through film, such as performance, photography, writing, music and sound. I am in love with the idea of making films inspired and driven by ideas and properties that are not Ďfromí film, and I love how there are films that are so imbedded in my mind that they inspire all of the other art that I do. Two well-known men that I share this passion with are Walter Murch and Orson Wells.
