Biography

Matthew Taylor is a filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. But has also lived and worked in Ireland, Africa, and Central America After graduating art school where he studied design and photography he entered film and TV production as a camera assistant. He has also worked professionally as an Assistant Director, Assistant Art Director, Props Designer and for the past several years, a storyboard artist. For 15 years in he as been honing his craft as a filmmaker from within the film industry. Matthew’s first short film script, an adaptation of “The Pit and The Pendulum”, was produced by the animation pioneer Ray Harryhausen.
