Biography Hi, my name is Rob Jameson aka Mosaic Rob. Iím a filmmaker from a small town on the beaches of NY. For the first half of my life I wanted to be a mechanical engineer. I went to college to study robotics and made skate video's on the weekend for fun. As time went on I came to enjoy the video making much more and applied my engineering background to making custom film rigs (dollies, cranes, ziplines.) At this point I was hooked! I left mechanical engineering school and headed for New York City to pursue a film career.
I started out as a freelance cameraman in New York City in 2006 and quickly found opportunities in low budget documentaries, music videoís and web commercials. I gained a lot of experience in a few short years with nonstop work in New Yorkís competitive market and won a few awards for my cinematography and directing (Golden Eagle Award for A Horse Connection, National Finalist in The Storyteller Challenge for The Next Experiment, ...) At this point I decided my true calling is directing, formed a boutique new media company called Mosaica Media and have been at it ever since.
I am currently directing commercials and music videos in Australia and always looking for new ways to get experience. I'm also working with friends around the world on a feature film and a large internet-based collaborative project called Mass Mosaic.
