Biography

Soundwrx began in 2007 and is located in Madeira, Portugal with links to artists based in the UK, Isrea, Venuzeula, China and Russia. It was born out of a wish to compose music in a wholly accessible format for both those within the industry and newcomers looking to experiment with innovative ideas. We are open to any feedback, ideas and suggestions and extend a welcome to those who share our enthusiasm, vision and optimism. Craig's experience includes a variety of roles in numerous creative environments: * Composer and arranger of underscore music for freelance director Piers Ibbotson of The Royal Shakespeare Company in 'Hamlet' Leeds University *Director of Music for Mid-Powys Youth Theatre Wales with Greg Cullen of BBC Radio Cardiff, playwright and Artistic Director of the National Welsh Youth Theatre * Composer of music as underscore for art installation pieces by UK artist and Durham university lecturer Debbie Loane *Commissioned music composer for Yorkshire & North Humberside Arts Council UK
