Biography

My theme song is "Umi Says" by Mos Def. Listen to it and you'll know more about me than most. I was born in Saudi Arabia, came to the U.S. when I was 1 and lived most of my life in Sacramento, Ca (The City of Trees). I went to college at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I received a degree in Film and Media Studies. A program that was focused on film analysis and theory rather than production. I wanted to have a strong foundation in theory and analysis so that my films can be more than just entertainment or moving pictures. Now I live in LA pursuing a film career. I'm doing music videos now because they help me explore my imagination and my ability to tell a story without words plus I'm an audiophile so it just works out. Eventually I would like to get into shorts and feature films.
