Biography

I got into the film business back in 1999. I met a special effects artist who had been admiring some of my work one day. We got to talking and it soon came out that I was a special ops veteran. Once he realized that I had been up close and personal with actual casualties, he invited me to critique some of his human body props. I started doing some special effects props of my own, and soon enough I opened my own Studio, Escape' Design. After 4 years in business I decided to try my hand at filmmaking. I still do my day-to-day work at Escape' Design, but I started producing my own films under another name... And Ritual Pictures was born. Our first film, Oisin, began production in Sept. 2008 and as of Feb. 2009 its nearly ready for the festival circuit. Oisin is the short version of our Feature Project, Malice. We are very excited about the film and can't wait to get it out there. We currently have two films in pre-pre-production, Malice and an untitled horror film we hope to get funding for very soon. We have posted a trailer for Oisin, right here on Filmaka, and hope you all have a chance to see it. When you do, please take note, that I personally created all the costumes, the set design, the makeup, and the special effects, in addition to directing. It doesn't get more gorilla than that.
