Biography

I earned my BFA in film from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Born and raised in Iowa, I believe the Midwestern landscape has finely shaped my perspective and has provided me with an affinity for tragi-comic characters grappling with truth in the fissures of small town America. I write and direct documentaries, commercials, and shorts. Currently, I'm working on a documentary about rock and roll aspiration in a small town and writing my first feature that is about the facets of delusion. New Jersey is now where I live.
