Joshua Mikel is a 2007 honors graduate from Florida State University's Theatre and Creative Writing programs. In his time at FSU, he frequented student film sets- acting in over thirty student films and drawing story boards or working in the art department for just as many- including the award winning Kirksdale (Lead/ Storyboard Artist- MFA 2007), The Problem With Fiber Optics (Featured/ Storyboard Artist- MFA 2005), and Heartburn (BFA 2007). In the summer of 2006, Joshua received a grant from the FSU Office of National Fellowships to try his hand at directing with his honors thesis "From Page To Screen: A Student Screenwriting/ Filmmaking Endeavor" for which he wrote, produced, and shot four short films, one of which was a music video for his band Look Mexico's single "Guys, I Need a Helicopter". Since then he has produced/ directed/ written/ storyboarded six more music videos, most of which you can see in his personal films.
