Biography

Over the past 13 years of my life I believe that I have been groomed for the position of producer in the television and film industry. After my five-year tenure in the United States Marine Corps, I took my ability to manage people, resources, logistics and my esprit de corps mindset to obtain further credentialing at an institute of higher learning. A place, which I felt, would further propel me to my passion of working in television industry. During my time in undergraduate, I was taught and later befriended by my mentor, Dr. Rod Metts, who is under the tutelage of the Coppola brothers and saw fit to pass their knowledge to me and advised me to attend graduate school, and I did. I applied and was accepted Chapman University Film School, where Academy Award Winner Alexandra Rose, Mace Neufeld, Jeff Margolis & Dave Garcia mentored me as well as continually encouraged my pursuit of business and production experience as well as education. I was instructed to take this path so that I may become a more well rounded person and able to function as key personnel on any producing team and eventually a great producer. I have a fervent interest in all aspects of the entertainment industry, but my primary interests lay within the creative side with an emphasis in writing and producing and becoming a producer in the like of Mace Neufeld, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jeff Margolis and Cecil B. DeMille. And I feel that the best way to accomplish this is to continually strive to create great projects such as the people whom appear to be the best in the industry. I have worked in all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production to ensure that I would become a more well rounded producer. I am detailed oriented; I have great communication skills with both oral and written, I am a self-starter who can work be an asset to any team or work individually with lots of motivation. I am firm in believing that my experience on set, classroom scholarship, Marine Corps experience and my current degree of a Master’s of Fine Arts (M.F.A) in Television and Film Producing have given me the necessary knowledge to immediately function as a successful member of any team.
