Biography

I am an engineer, a musician and a film director - sometimes I think I am a polivalent artist. I was born in Humahuaca, Argentina in 1979. At the age of twenty three I finished my career as a Computer Science Engineer at the University of Jujuy, Argentina. I received two awards for the best student of the year. In 2003 I moved to Barcelona, Spain. I studied film direction at ECIB (Escuela de Cine de Barcelona) and additionally I successfully finished a master degree in 35mm (ECIB-UPC, Catalonia Politechnical University), being one of the two final candidates who got the opportunity to direct their shortfilms in 35mm. During the next years I worked for different advertisement agencies. I won two prizes for the best publicity in Spain(Brand: San Miguel Beer, 2009) in colaboration with MPG (Media planning group). With the script AVANTI I was one of the finalist in the contes of the newspaper MARCA. I made several shortfilms, videoclips, ads and some pieces of video art. All of them gave me some experience in this "field" that I love: cinema. At the moment I am working for HP (image quality inspector) and looking forward to get the opportunity to make my first long film!
