Biography

Eric Tao is a media junkie with exquisite taste and talent. He produces, writes, directs, and edits… a technical and creative multi-threat. He has written, directed and produced commercials, promotional campaigns, PSAs, test spots and web content for a number of blue chip clients. In addition to strong writing and conceptual skills, he has a unique gift for being able to extract amazing production value out of limited means. He’s very involved in the world of new and social media and is very intrigued by the potential outlets that will exist for new content. He has extensive Production and Post Production experience in many different capacities, and is also a great organizer, problem solver, team player. He’s also a walking encyclopedia of Directors and Production Companies and the content they’ve produced. And last but not least, he is very cool under pressure, and is a great communicator with pitch and people skills. Eric Tao has an MFA in Film and Advertising from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
