Byron Huskey, a resident of Kansas City, has long loved the art form of filmmaking. Making the decision to turn his passion into a career, he says, has been the best (and most difficult) choice he's ever made. Byron prefers to both make and watch films that push the boundaries of cinema, whether those advances are on a grand scale, or small.
He admires filmmakers like Peter Jackson, Michel Gondry, and J.J. Abrams for their ability to tell stories in fascinating ways, and how they have pushed filmmaking further because of it.
Currently in his senior year at the Univeristy of Missouri Kansas City, Byron looks forward to graduating and making movies full time, in whatever capacity he is able to. Every project teaches a new lesson, and he knows there will always be more to learn!
Byron eventually plans to return to his home state of California to pursue a career in Hollywood, but in the mean time is enjoying the many opportunities available in the heart of America. He has slowly but surely developed a core group of talented individuals to work with, without whom he could have never made it this far, and hopes to grow this group into his own legitimate film company some day.
