From the High Plains of West Texas...
I grew up in a tiny oil town outside of Amarillo, Texas, and fell in love with storytelling of all stripes at an early age. It was my escape from the mundane, often oppressive surroundings I found myself in. Whether it was John Steinbeck, The Cure, Terry Gilliam, Alan Moore, or any other creative genius, I couldn't get enough.
I got a film degree from the University of Texas in Austin, worked on a few big budget sets, and then promptly dropped out of the film industry to be a musician and bartender and enjoy the easy life in Texas' liberal capitol. However, the lure of being a creator on a grander scale would never leave me alone, so I eventually used the inertia of booking a few tv shows and commercials in Austin to make the leap to Los Angeles. Now I work full time trying to capture the ideas swimming in my head to deliver them for consumption and, hopefully, enjoyment of the masses.
