I studied film critique in noir and art expressioism at the university of canterbury between 2009-12 and in 2013 I did my honours....
I then went onto film in fine arts and for honours in 2017 I made a Dada styled movie titled "Mobb the Mads Eponymous Movie" but I dont think the current attitude in film really tolerates the Dada theme.
Since Uni I often film bands in concert or make videos for them . Which I am in the process of completing three videos for a local artist using three different styles....the first one I completed is noir based as I really like shadows, stark lighting and unrelated props (Im a great believer in utilising the environment and the point and shoot method or as we say shoot the shit out of it and see what happens). the 2nd one is green screen with photos on the screen and the third will be a type 60's hullabaloo clip.
I found studying both expressionist art forms and film noir helped me appreciate both the satrists and the lettrist movements which gave us the alternative movement from beatniks, hippies and culminating in punk.
numerous music concerts and clips since 2000 and and satirical short films
