Biography

Lee Bader and Liri Navon are the founders of Bread Break Productions, bite-sized content - made by women. The two award-winning filmmakers collaborate bi-continentally, writing and directing content both in New York and Israel. LIRI NAVON is an Israeli writer, actress, and filmmaker. Liri got her training in writing and improv at Second City Chicago. Her pilot script, Cat Burglar, was a quarter-finalist at the PAGE Awards. The half-hour comedy/drama follows a security engineer with crippling social anxiety who quits her job to become a cat burglar. It is based on Liri's own experience (with anxiety, not burglary). She is the creator of Barbie for Adults, a webseries that revolves around Barbie dolls with no self-esteem. The series premiered at The New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles. It was an official selection at festivals around the world as well as a part of an installation at DISJECTA Contemporary Art Center in Portland. www.lirinavon.com LEE BADER is an actor-creator. Born in Israel, Lee got her training both in London and New York and is a graduate of the William Esper Studio. Her writing and producing credits include Shakespeare on the M, a series of Shakespearian monologues performed on the New York City’s Subway, as well as Super Lady, an award-nominated short centered around a male director's misguided attempt at gender equality. The short was an official selection by the WANDA: Feminism and Moving Image in addition to Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival. www.leebader.com
