Jonathan Pierre began his composing and producing career with an award winning music production company in Chicago, Dupee Productions. While he was in college, Jonathan was invited to join the multi-talented production team as a composer and writer. Dupee Productions has been credited with working with Hidden Beach/Sony’s top recording artists such as Darius Rucker, Jill Scott, and Kindred the Family Soul. During those years at Dupee Productions, Jonathan was able to work with top advertising agencies like Burrell, Leo Burnett, and Carol H. Williams, to name a few, to produce music for television and radio commercials for clients such as GMC, Tide, Sears, Walmart, and the United States Army. He also has been credited on Hidden Beach/Sony’s Mike Phillips and Unwrapped albums. Jonathan Pierre has garnered invaluable experience and noteworthy praise from industry veterans for his creativity and innovation in his compositions for screen, record, and radio.
Jonathan brings to the table raw talent that has been refined through private study with award winning and world renowned composer, John Tatgenhorst. As a graduate with Honors from Columbia College Chicago’s rigorous and comprehensive Music Composition Program, Jonathan Pierre has developed the remarkable ability to couple music for the screen with his innate gift for Orchestral, Hip Hop, Rock, and R&B composition. The natural result of such creativity is a distinctive style that blends all music worlds in powerful harmony.
Jonathan relocated to Los Angeles in early 2008 to focus his sights on a film and video game scoring career. Since his relocation he has scored several independent films, one of which will premiere at the end of May in Hollywood. Jonathan has a promising career ahead of him always takes the vision of the director and producer to the next level.
