Ernest Carlos, Grew up in Brooklyn NY. life on the streets of Brooklyn was rough, Mr Carlos frequently found himself in trouble with the law, one thing that did keep him grounded was his love for the Martial art, visiting the Brooklyn Museum and the Museum of natural history In Manhattan. Those visits to the Museum inspired him to see the world. Ernest dreamed of one day traveling the globe. After losing many jobs and getting in and out of trouble with the law. Ernest was faced with a decision that would change his life. Standing in front of a judge for the third time, he told the Judge that he had signed up to become a Merchant Marine and promised to change his life. The Judge granted his release and told him He must go to sea, so he did. After 10 years of traveling the world, Ernest filmed his travels around the world. Then went onto have his work shown at The New York International Independent film Festival on march 5th 2008.
