Biography

I am an aspiring filmmaker from Austin, Texas via Mt. Pleasant, Texas via Dallas, Texas. I attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a degree in Advertising. After puttering around for awhile dropping off fliers of varying sorts to local businesses, I developed my multimedia skills and proceeded to work for hi-tech companies such as Apple, Dell and Tocquigny Interactive, all in Austin, Texas. It was during this time that technology came to a point where anyone could make a movie with an idea and some people to collaborate with. I amassed some equipment and began making music videos for MC Overlord, Austin’s 9-time Hip-Hop artist of the Year being nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video on one occasion. I began branching out into the narrative short form, serving as PA, Grip, Second Camera, First Camera and Director of Photography for 48-Hour Film Festivals. I, along with John Dennis, collaborated on a sitcom concept called Garden Variety, with real actors, virtually no crew and a lot of creativity to pull off three sitcom-length episodes over a total of 5 days. John and I continue to bring our collaborative skills and creativity to opportunities provided by Filmaka.com.
