I am not really into writing about myself in the 3rd person, so Iíll just tell you a bit about myself.*
The first film I remember watching was The Great Dictator. I was mesmerized. I love many films by many directors, but if I had to specify directors whose overall work I find inspiring, Iíd say Kubrick, Fellini, Altman, Bergman, Almodovar, Bunuel and Tarantino. I developed a huge crush on films from the late 60 and 70s, which I maintain to today. I've been photographing stuff since I was a kid. Following some aimless partying during high school and college, I ended up working as a copywriter (at a shop that used to be part of the Young & Rubicam group) and marketing director (client side) in New York, Miami, Sacramento, Frankfurt, Bangkok, Santo Domingo and Madrid. I graduated from Florida International University and am currently in the last trimester of the UCLA Postgraduate Screenwriting Program. Throughout my career Iíve shot a bunch of stuff (still, video, film) in over 20 different countries. Iíve won awards including CLIO, Indie Fest, LA Reel. Iíve written and published a book about marketing. I just completed post on my first feature called Jarring, and Iím in development for a second feature, which I plan to make in 2010.
