Carrie LeZotte is the executive producer at One of Us Films and founding partner of OICmovies.com. She began writing, producing, and directing while attending high school and never stopped.
In addition to independent film projects, her work includes cinema-style training, the documentary Regional Roots - the Birth and Evolution of Detroit and Its People, and productions for several non-profits.
In 2009, LeZotte was honored with a Vanguard Award, given by Detroit Young Professionals, an award that celebrates innovators and changemakers who have distinguished themselves through professional leadership and service. Under her leadership in 2010, One of Us Films received a Voice for Victims award for their work on the animated film, "Daisy Tells a Secret," a safety video for children about body ownership.
When she's not working, you might find Carrie sailing on the Detroit River, enjoying fine dining with her husband Stott (not Scott) Matthews, or being mumma to her amazing three-year-old, Zarey.
