Biography

Moved to Michigan in 2000 and first began his film career as director of the short film "Room X" in 2005. His follow-up short film "Caught" (2006) screened at 11 film festivals in the United States, including the 2006 FAIF International Film Festival (Los Angeles), the 2006 Flint Film Festival (Michigan) and the 2006 Big Island Film Festival (Hawaii). His 2007 short films included "The Candle", "Demeter" and the sequel "Demeter: Surrender". In 2008 his film "Cadence" was accepted to 13 film festivals across the United States, including the Staten Island Film Festival (New York) and the Trenton Film Festival (New Jersey). He was also one of the producers of the television pilot "New Directions" (2008) filmed in Detroit, Michigan. In 2009, he was co-director of the zombie comedy "Dealbreaker" that saw film festival success coast-to-coast. For 2010, he will direct "4 Pictures", a personal narrative romantic comedy. Mike's additional experience includes screen writing training with Chuck Cirgenski of Zone V Productions, collaboration with "The D-Town Screenwriters Group", and Director of Photography for the comedy mockumentary "Never Odd or Even" (2006) from Paperbag Productions.
